U'viloh Talos

U'viloh Talos is a very brash, quick to anger guy. Because of this it's challenging to interact with him. You're far more likely to piss him off enough that he will either evacuate to 'higher ground' or trigger his fight instinct.

U'vi is constantly trying to push himself to be stronger. If he feels like he can test his limits or improve his skills he's quick to jump headfirst into the situation.

The fist-fighter makes his gil through taking on bounties, hunt marks and fighting rings. He won't blink at smaller jobs and prefers tasks that others avoid due to difficulty. He will not take work that requires murder.

While U'viloh does have an incredibly hard exterior he's got a good heart deep down. If someone is in grave need of help he can't turn them away, though he will act like it's a 'chore'.

Due to a mother who ruled the household with an iron fist, U'vi is actually incredibly intimidated by women. He would never raise a hand against them outside of combat and is more likely to shrink back or seek the quickest way out if he managed to piss one off. The closer a woman gets to him the more frazzled and anxious he becomes.

When outside city walls the Seeker is never seen without his coeurl, Mah'tir. They have been together since a very young age and are as close as brothers. Mah'tir is the far more level headed of the pair and usually keeps his boy from making idiotic decisions. The two work as a team on the job and would take each other's company over anyone else's. Mah'tir, however, has been known on a few very rare cases to take a particular shine to some 'two leggeds' and, despite U'vi's protests, happily insists on keeping their company around. (TLDR; if Mah'tir likes you U'vi can't get rid of you.)

If he isn't on the job, getting a drink, or indulging his endless appetite for food the Seeker is almost always on a roof somewhere or up in a tree. Heights are his comfort zone and the closer to the sun the better (so long as his feet are on the ground.) It's not uncommon to find him sunbathing or knocked out on some random saps roof or a store's building, away from as many people as possible while still finding nostalgic comfort in the city of Ul'dah.

The Talos family is one of the wealthier families of Ul'dah. They are widely well known for the coeurl they raise for adventurer's and hard working mounts. It is not uncommon to recognize the Talos name or know of the family, which in turn has gotten U'vi into several fights when he's recognized and penned as the 'rich boy'. He despises being reduced to a simple 'well off, priviledged brat' and will not hesitate to throw hands.

For better or worse, U'viloh has insatiable curiosity about topics that interest him. While he normally has a very short attention span, if something catches his attention it's very difficult to get him to focus on anything else.

One of the Seeker's greatest interests is the inner workings of miqo'te clans and tribes. The topic was always taboo with his parents as they severed ties with their own before his birth, so he's very curious about how others of his kind live and what is considered 'normal'. Despite the traditional 'U' tribe name, his parents named him in honor of another miqo'te of the tribe who helped them settle into Thanalan after fleeing their old life.

U'viloh is an Echo bearer. His 'gift' is limited to getting a basic understanding of animals and monsters alike. He does not hear them speak, but rather, feels their emotions and has a loose grasp of their intentions.His echo does not allow him to understand other languages. At times he may see past memories, but they are rough and crude. If he meets another bearer of the Echo he is prone to rapid-fire headaches and a rush of their memories completely unprovoked and unwillingly. This does not always happen, but is possible.

Have you grown up in Ul'dah? Perhaps you have heard of the Talos family and their brash idiot of a son who keeps getting himself into scraps. The family name does have weight in the city due to their great financial success in raising coeurl.

Have a contract for mercenary or hunt work? U'vi is interested in contracts that pay big or are considered too difficult for others, he loves a good challenge to test his limits.He will not accept jobs that require killing.

Fist fighter? Enjoy a good scrap? The blonde will almost always throw himself into a fight without a second thought, regardless if someone far out-classes him.

U'vi has a bad reputation with other sellswords and mercenaries in Ul'dah, mainly because he beats others to the marks they seek. He's given a lot of shit for being a 'rich kid' who only has it good because of his parents money.

Find yourself in dire circumstances and need help? When it comes down to it U'vi can't turn someone away who is in need, even if it looks like he's only agreeing to help by the skin of his teeth.

Grew up on the streets? U'vi often wandered off from the safe shadow of his parents. It took many unfortunate run-ins with those 'less fortunate' to quickly teach him he had to defend himself, and not walk around looking like his family is worth as much as it is.
